The BRICK series stands in strong contrast to the varied subject matter I approach. I produce this geometric form in multiples and when they are fired, I arrange them in various compositions. Stacked or placed apart, hung in a large cluster or in small groups, this stagnant brick element has captivated my fascination with its endless configuration possibilities. Light and shadow also play an important roll in this body of work, emphasizing the grid structures and adding a skewed dimension.
